What is the COSO find the fund?

 Cambodia Orphan Save Organisation

 (COSO) is a non-governmental, non-

 political, non-profited local organisation. Its

mission is working to combat dilemmas of

 illiterateness, the poor, homeless and

 orphans, and indigent people.

The goal of COSO is to achieve a general

knowledge and standard for living of these

children. Cambodia is a country in south-eastern

 Asia. Cambodia’s neighbouring countries are

Thailand to the north-west, Loa to the north,

 and Vietnam to the east.

Cambodia was at civil war for over two decades

and therefore many Cambodian people were

killed, crippled, or made homeless, Cambodian

people were more than three million killed by

the Khmer rouge regime, over three-years and

eight-months and twenty-days, because of overwork, hunger, the cruelest violence, and infectious diseases without any medicines or cures. Most intellectuals, scholars, and learned people were killed and only a few of them were left. A lack of them made Cambodia difficult to be developed. They have lived with such so sad and difficult conditions, health problems, and infectious diseases after the war. Although the war finished, Cambodia still had insecurities and fighting against each other in nationwide Cambodia, it was not calm yet. There were many disabled people, orphans, widows, and the elderly left in Cambodia nationwide.

Those are most pitiful are the children. Many children lost their parents in  the war, and became orphans. Both the children and orphans lived in pitiful conditions and nobody could help them. They picked up rubbish, begged, ect. in the street, markets, and other public places. They also did some dangerous and illegal activities such as stealing and abusing drugs. The orphans wandered aimlessly from one area to another area everywhere. The disabled and the orphans caused serious problems that needed solving immediately in society. Having seen the utter misery, eight voluntary Cambodian intellectuals gathered together to make a non government organization named COSO.

COSO need the budgets to support, feed and take care of the children, COSO’s main source of funding is provided by volunteers, generosity of tourists traveling through Cambodia. Donations are greatly needed and appreciated at this time. Food, rice, books, clothing, educational supplies, and financial contributions can all be made COSO’s children to help get a better future. We are continuing to look for sponsors or donors.
