I recently visited your orphanage and met some of the children you care for. They made such an impact on me that I have returned home determined to help in any way that I can. I have some ideas and hope that I can put a plan into action very soon.

I had the pleasure of teaching the children at COSO 1 for the last two months and a bit. Working with the staff (Khmer), my teaching partner (Jacob), and Nick was an incredibly enriching and meangiful expirence. And I cannot wait to retun next year with more time on my hands.

I have been fortunate enough to visit COSO and get to know the children twice over the last 18 months. I have also been fortunate enough to get to know Samnang and his family along to way. Both Nick and Samnang are together working towards providing a better future for the Children of Cambodia and have dreams to continue to do more and more. Such a small amount of money can do so much. The childrens education and lifestyle can be greatly improved with just a little outside support. The money donated to COSO is used to the best of their ability and always with the children in mind. COSO is also run by both local Khmer people and International supporters, but is not ruled by International people placing their values on Cambodian life. This is truely an example of a family and local village environment, rather than an institutional setting. I miss everyone so much and feel honoured to have had the opportunity to be involved in COSO. I can not wait to see you all again.

I have lived and worked in Cambodia and met up with Nick Griffin who does an amazing job with this orphange. I have always wanted to become involved with a place like this but needed to be assured that the money I give does go to the children and not to administration. I have been back and have seen that each time the children and speaking more English and they are receiving the benefits that we all send. I wish C.O.S.O. all the very best in the future and I know the children are being well looked after. If anyone wants to email me to confirm what I have said please dont hesitate to do so.
